I. Brief Description of personal feat or merits
Captain of Medical Service Baykov has been on active duty in the 198th Detached Medical Battalion as the Head of Medical Supply Service since August 1943. The prospective awardee is well trained and competent in the field. Due to Comrade Baykov’s indefatigable energy and diligence, the Medical Battalion and the Body of troops on the whole experienced no interruptions in supplies of bandaging materials and medicines in any situation. Under most difficult circumstances Comrade Baykov managed to provide the operative-dressing group with sufficient quantities of solutions.
The prospective awardee is active, persevering, and consistent in pursuing the tasks set by the command.
